Available:
One (1)- Status: Full-Time Temporary 1 year Contract (37.5 hours per week)- Salary Range: $59,126-$65,265 annually**_

The key responsibilities for this position will include:_**- Overseeing the enrollment and matching of children and youth as part of their involvement in community based programs.


  • Responsibility for all aspects related to engaging, enrolling, assessing, training, and matching and match support for all community based mentoring matches.
  • Ensuring the team engages, enrolls and matches children and youth by using methods supported by national standards.
  • Supporting the team in addressing the needs and providing resources to the children, youth and families who are referred to community based programs.
  • Overseeing the team in their support of mentoring matches including providing opportunity to debrief and problem solve issues and needs.
  • Providing guidance to direct reports through leadership, supervision and performance management.
  • Building and managing relationships with agency partners, in order to understand and support child and youth issues and trends in the community.

  • University degree or college diploma in the human services field.
  • 23 years of previous supervisory experience along with 5 years combined experience in a role involved with child/youth based programming, volunteer management and partnership development.
  • Extensive knowledge of child and youth based programming, youth development and how to work with vulnerable families. Solid knowledge on how to engage children, youth and families through processes including assessment, screening and training.
  • Has experience in the supervision and support of staff and volunteers and the ability to facilitate, lead and motivate others. Must have the ability to evaluate direct reports.
  • Proven ability to be approachable, understanding, organized and efficient with excellent problem solving skills.
  • An awareness and understanding of emerging issues facing children and families as well as the community resources available for families.
  • Proven
    _ _ability to provide quality outcome based programs, services and opportunities for children and families. Skilled and comfortable and accurate entering data into an electronic system and working with MS programs particularly SharePoint, Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Valid Driver's license and access to a vehicle.
