What you'll be doing:

The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide quality delivery of the Police Foundations program curriculum.

You will utilize a variety of instruction strategies, techniques, and delivery methods to meet the individual learning styles of the students, in a safe and civil learning environment.

Instructors are responsible for teaching assigned courses in accordance with course competencies, taking daily attendance, and as required, grading class tests, assignments, and exams.

Stay up to date with the latest industry trends to enhance the learning experience.


The instructor will support the vision, mission, and values of triOS College while contributing to a positive, supportive, and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, dedication, and readiness, embracing diversity, and fostering inclusion.


What you bring to the position:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of police service experience.
  • Related diploma or degree from a recognized Law Enforcement program.
  • The ability to enhance written material with personal experience is essential.
  • Previous teaching experience is preferred.
  • Intermediate MS Office skills are required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills along with a professional attitude.
