The Redimix Batcher-Operator at PLP Redimix Ltd. plays a critical role in the productivity and efficiency of operations at PLP Redimix Ltd. and its facilities.

The Redimix Batcher Operator plays many critical roles including but not limited to; produce concrete products to required specifications Equipment Operator.


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid 'G' Driver's License with clean driver's abstract required; Class DZ or better considered an asset
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience
  • Must display a professional and courteous attitude to coworkers, supervisors, and the general public at all times
  • Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends when necessary
  • Strict adherence to all industry related safety legislation as well as company specific safety policies/procedures
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and assist coworkers and supervisors with other duties as required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Must be able to produce concrete products to required specifications
Verify each load for yardage, mix, added products and all other quality information

  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently
  • Receive and inspect raw materials
  • Keep required records and logs
  • Oversee the cleaning of the central mix plant.
  • Monitor inventories in the plant. (Cement, flash, admixtures)
  • Ability to perform moderately complex mathematical equations as applicable
  • Thorough working knowledge of computer/batching system
  • Define problems and collect data
  • Various tasks as required

Salary:
From $60,000.00 per year
