Summary
Collins Aerospace is looking to hire
Tool Data Management Specialist who will be reporting to the Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineering.

As the
Tool Data Management Specialist (TMS), you will be responsible for managing new and existing cutting tool specifications within the ZOLLER data base in order to support the Machine Shop.


Work Shift:
Mon-Thurs 4x10 (6:00 am-4:00 pm)


This position will be on site at Oakville Facility, Ontario Canada

Relocation allowance will not be provided to this role

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Maintain ZOLLER tool data base with cutting tool specifications
  • Manage changes, obsolete items and improvements to existing tooling data
  • Support the Digital Tool Data builds to setup tooling packages for the machine shop.
  • Updating data and working with the inventory in the Zoller tool data management system.
  • Support Continuous Improvement efforts in Tooling.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:


  • Typically requires a University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technologist or Licensed Machinist
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a tool management data system (ZOLLER) or similar type of Tool Data Software.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints/drawings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs (i.e. Excel, Outlook and Word)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic Zoller software knowledge
  • Basic CATIA V5 knowledge or other CAD system
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
