Associate
Aircraft Battery Technician, reporting to the Operations Manager, working out of the
Toronto office. The
Associate
Aircraft Battery Technician primary will be receiving, inspecting, testing, cleaning and shipping aircraft batteries. Additional duties will include shop upkeep, data entry and quality activities.
Position Responsibilities:
- Performs routine production assembly operations on aircraft batteries, equipment and accessories using manual operations.
- Adjusts effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, and/or cultures.
- Originates action to improve existing conditions and processes; uses appropriate methods to identify opportunities, implements solutions, and measures impact.
- Anticipate important or critical events, identifying resource requirements and assigning responsibility for specific work, including deadlines.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 1+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance
- Postsecondary education
- Ability to stand for extended period of time as well as able to physically perform the duties of the position including standing, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 35 lbs throughout the day
- Must be legally able to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
- Experience in Aerospace or Aviation industry
- SAP experience is preferred
- Have one of the following: FAA Airframe/Powerplant (A&P) mechanics license, Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license or Military equivalent
Typical Education and Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g.
High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g.
vocational school/Associate).Relocation:
