    The Role Reporting to Total Rewards Lead, this role contributes to the development and improvement of compensation policies, programs, and solutions through research, market and trend analysis, industry best practices, and data analytics. You will ensure all programs align with business objectives and are effective in attracting, rewarding, and retaining talent. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
    • Facilitate and assist the overall design and implementation of compensation programs including base salary, incentives, retention schemes, equity, etc.
    • Lead the participation in annual and targeted market compensation survey.
    • Support the development of communication materials to enhance the awareness and understanding of compensation initiatives with HR Business Partners, line leaders and employees.
    • Partner with Human Resources and Business/Functional leaders, providing advice and consultation on compensation related matters; and develop solutions to unique and complex compensation matters.
    • Participate in the company-wide annual compensation review including the development of the compensation review planning calendar, training material, liaising with HRIS on technical issues, providing troubleshooting support and advice to the HR advisory team throughout the planning cycle, testing planned system/tool enhancements and identifying system/process improvements for future years.
    • Lead and/or participate in specific total rewards projects and initiatives as required. These will vary in size, scope and duration and may be individual or team based.
    In order to be successful in this role, you should have:
    • University degree (preferably in Human Resources or Business) with 7+ years of compensation experience.
    • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation preferred.
    • Strong technical expertise in North American compensation and executive compensation practices and global compensation experience preferred.
    • Experience with equity-based long term incentive plans preferred.
    • Strong computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, SAP Success Factors and Workday compensation modules.
    • Results focused with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate flexibility and ability to work collaboratively across all levels in the organization.
    • Industry knowledge and legislative awareness.
    • Excellent customer service, communications, and problem-solving skills.
    Additional Information Office based working environment, work from our Calgary office three or more days per week.
