Job Summary:

This position involves the maintenance and daily operation of building, grounds and equipment. Also works as a warehouse staff member when needed.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Effectively and efficiently meet maintenance and production goals.
  • Work safely, encourage others to do so, and follow safety policies.
  • Create, investigate, and complete work orders and preventative maintenance tasks using BIS information tracking system.
  • Recommend equipment and process improvements.
  • Helps to identify spare parts needed and maintain spare parts inventory.
  • Keeps tools organized and in their proper storage area.
  • Troubleshoot and carry out equipment repairs in safe and timely manner to minimize downtime.
  • Be available to cover for plant/equipment problems on other shift(s).
  • Assist in unloading bulk tank trucks into proper raw material storage tanks.
  • Assist with warehouse tasks, including but not limited to putting material away, unloading trucks and pulling and shipping orders.
  • Maintain ISO 9001 standards in the plant.
  • All quality requirements as outlined in Tier I & Tier II.
  • Other duties as required.

Knowledge/Skills Required:


  • Knowledge of production processes and warehouse procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance skills.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision and a team player.
  • Good interpersonal/communication skills.
  • Proficient at using computerbased system.
  • Ability to cut and thread pipe from 1⁄2" to 2"
  • Basic knowledge of electrical work.
  • Read, write and speak English.
  • Proficiency in math.
  • Reliable, accurate and energetic.
