As an information management technician, you contribute to promoting Desjardins's investment solutions to Canada-wide intermediary networks by supporting business development teams with a complete range of financial documents.

You extract data and create and produce a large volume of documents by developing and administering information systems. You analyze and help adapt management systems based on the administrative department's changing needs.

You serve as a technical expert and provide discipline-specific support for your unit's activities, initiatives and processes. The ability to tailor your approach as needed is therefore essential. You conduct specialized technical research and analysis related to processes, information management and data processing.


You draw on your sound decision-making skills to solve technically complex problems and recommend and help develop ways to improve or adjust methods and procedures to make them as effective and efficient as possible.

General Information on the Position


Main responsibilities- Regularly update a large volume of documents and fact sheets about investment solutions- Ensure the rollout of documents on digital platforms and to business development teams- Create Word documents with encoding- Perform quality reviews in English and French of various marketing documents produced by your unit- Collaborate with compliance, product development and linguistic services teams as well as external advertising agencies- Help develop, roll out and maintain manual and automated processes- Help prepare technical notes, guides and content to enhance the skills and knowledge of users from your unit- Provide technical support for projects and complex operational issues- Help practitioners follow your unit's standards and processes and use its business solutions, tools and systems.

Other working conditions- Workplace: Position located in Montréal, Lévis or Toronto, depending on the applicant selected. The work arrangement for the position is hybrid work- Temporary work: scheduled to end on June 7, year with insurance- Number of jobs available: 2


Qualifications:


  • College diploma in a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Project management experience (an asset)
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered- For vacant positions available in Ontario, please note that knowledge of French is required

Specific knowledge- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Creative / InDesign- Advanced knowledge of the Office 365 suite- Intermediate knowledge of HTML (an asset)- Strong communication skills in both French and English, both oral and written due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with (language)-speaking partners, members and/or clients
