Flynn Group of Companies is currently looking to fill a Insulation Cutter position for our day shifts.

Do you have experience working with insulation, and hand tools? Then this is the position for you In this role, you will be assisting our production team by adding insulation materials to our panel systems.

The position is located at our Mississauga Branch which is located at Airport Road and Derry in Mississauga. This position will be reporting to the Metals Production Manager.


Position available:

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

  • Responsibilities
  • Cut insulation as per fabrication drawings.
  • Safely operate a band saw.
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other materials from surfaces of metal products.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas.
  • Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout the plant manually or by using powered equipment (ie. pallet jacks).
  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings.
  • Use measuring equipment including measuring tape, vernier, caliper and micrometer.
  • Desired Qualifications
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Previous experience using a tape measure; ability to read a tape measure
  • Previous experience operating a band saw and various hand tools
  • Ability to work independently
  • Detail Oriented
  • Can stand for 8 hours a day
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Can interpret drawings, calculate angles, measure and mark up material
