We are looking for a
Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will lead full-cycle recruitment managing a robust portfolio that supports various business areas.

You will leverage your exceptional recruitment experience in a unionized environment to support hiring managers in developing a recruitment strategy that supports talent sourcing initiatives, assessments, and selection.

This is a
temporary full-time position to May 2024.

Where you'll work


At WorkSafeBC, we offer a
hybrid work model that combines the convenience of working remotely with the dynamism of working in one of our offices, based on the operational needs of the position.

In this role, you'll work primarily from your B.C. home and occasionally in our Richmond office.

What you'll do

  • Facilitate and lead the full cycle recruitment process for the business, working with hiring managers and People & Culture partners
  • Use consistent practices and fair processes that instill confidence and deliver excellent service levels
  • Work on highvolume recruits including preposting placement processes
  • Fulfill the administrative tasks associated with full cycle recruiting

We're looking for someone who can:

  • Make process improvements and use technology to innovate
  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve our organizational recruitment objectives
  • Manage multiple and changing priorities with ease demonstrating administrative proficiency
  • Independently work accurately with processes and systems to achieve successful outcomes

Your background and experience

  • A bachelor's degree in human resources, communications, marketing, or a related discipline
  • Experience recruiting in a unionized environment is definitely a strong asset
  • Experience managing a large portfolio, multiple strategic searches, and client relationships
  • Proficiency working with recruiting and peoplerelated tools and systems, including applicant tracking systems, resume databases, internet sourcing tools, and various reporting tools.
  • Recruitment experience with trades positions is an asset but not necessary
  • CPHR designation (or working towards completion) is preferred
An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

You will be required to successfully meet the legal requirements under the Criminal Records Review Act to work with children and/or vulnerable adults.
