Qualifications:

Registered Canadian Patent Agent with the College of Patent Agents & Trademark Agents (CPATA) in good standing
Lawyer in good standing with the Ontario or Quebec Bar (preferred)
Minimum of three years' relevant experience in patent drafting and prosecution in a law firm context or inhouse IP group
Fluent in English and French (preferred)
Clientoriented and resultsdriven, able to work well in fastpaced environment
Detail oriented, yet practical and business minded
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Effective time management skills
High level of motivation, commitment, and leadership

Education:

Bachelor's, Master's, and/or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or similar education
Canadian Law degree (preferred)
