Description

The OBASA Group of Companies is looking for a dynamic individual to support the President & CEO with various administrative matters in the Saskatoon, SK office.

OBASA is involved in corporate housing, real estate development, property management in Canada and the US exciting and owns MyKey Global Accommodations, a fast-growing technology enhanced vendor management solution serving the insurance industry, helping people with emergency accommodations in times of need.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the day-to-day of Obasa's President & CEO and ensure he is supported & running smoothly, from preparing agendas to assigning action items and providing follow-up.
  • Organize & manage schedules, including booking meetings, contacting participants, booking rooms, etc. Ensure that all items critical to the business are prioritized within the calendar.
  • Manage the CEO's attendance for various meetings (such as preparing meeting notes & materials)
  • Support as needed in areas such as reporting, investigating discrepancies, followups with suppliers and clients, project management including research and estimating.
  • Work with the Executive team to complete targeted specific requests in an effective and efficient manner including managing deal flow.
  • Recording meeting minutes and tracking and actively managing action items to ensure completion.
  • Providing executive assistance to executive committees, including meeting coordination, AV setup, and meeting minutes.
  • Anticipate the needs of the president and CEO and ensure they are prepared and briefed in advance of meetings.
Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in senior administration or as an executive assistant.
  • Experience working with a "One Minute Manager".
  • Ability to take on a variety of challenges and multitask effectively.
  • Exceptional standards of professional integrity, customer ethics, and proficiency in all aspects of administrative activity.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with confidential and sensitive information is essential.
  • Effective and exemplary interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Service oriented, adaptable, reliable and dependable with a professional work ethic and great attitude.
  • Class 5 driver's license and a clean driver's abstract is an asset. A criminal record check will also be required.
  • Character that is reliable, open, considerate, and accommodating.
  • Naturally proactive, taking strong initiative without direction, anticipating the needs of the leadership team.
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to travel when required.
