We are looking for highly motivated individuals to consider for our Advisor Quality Assurance role.

In this role, you will work as part of an innovative and collaborative team to prove the accuracy of the 'cash registers' of the company.

Your technical ability, attention to detail and desire for continuous improvement will be utilized to ensure compliance to Measurement Canada and internal standards.


Our team tests and seals natural gas meters and devices to supply accurate, safe and reliable measuring devices to our customers.

What You Will Do:

  • Accountable for the accuracy of all rotary and turbine meters and EVC devices, in accordance with Measurement Canada regulations, to ensure certified and accurate measurement and the retention of our accredited status.
  • Lead projects for the North Bay Meter Shop QA. These projects involve significant technical troubleshooting and well as developing and implementing solutions.
  • Strong technical knowledge required to ensure QA equipment is measuring accurately.
  • Ability to troubleshoot custom rotary, turbine and EVC provers along with software, unique to the North Bay meter shop, independently and with external vendors when issues arise and to ensure the equipment is properly maintained and accurate.
  • Accountable for the results of all audits in North Bay pertaining to QA & Accreditation, including those mandated by the industry regulator Measurement Canada and Enbridge.
  • Works with the Supervisor, Meter Shop Operations in North Bay to manage daily workload for the Quality Assurance department.
  • Provide absence coverage for the Supervisor, Measurement Accreditation and Integration.

Who You Are:

You will have the following education & experience:

  • Related university degree and four‐plus years' experience OR six‐plus years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.
  • Technical experience in program development.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Preferred skills:

  • CET or ability to acquire.
  • CQA or CQE or ability to acquire.
  • Experience working in a prescriptive regulatory environment.
  • Project management experience.
  • Applied programming skills and experience.
