The Assembly is an autonomous employer, separate from the administrative framework of B.C. government ministries and agencies.


The Hansard Services department is seeking an analytical, organized and collaborative individual for the auxiliary as-and-when position of Broadcast Systems and Integration Specialist.


Reporting to the Media Streaming Engineer, the Broadcast Systems and Integration Specialist (BSIS) participates in the management, integration and support of complex broadcast and IT systems that make up the Broadcasting Services infrastructure.

As part of the Broadcasting team, the BSIS is responsible for systems and operations critical to the function and flow of the parliamentary process in the Legislative Assembly.


QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must be/have:

  • A postsecondary education in computer science, electronics technology, broadcast technology, information technology or a related program, plus at least three years related TV Broadcasting or IT experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
