WHAT YOU WILL DO


Under the direction of the Senior Development Lead, the Field Supervisor will be responsible for implementing the Forsite Health and Safety Program as well as assisting with scheduling, supervision, training, quality control and providing direction to a production crew.

The Field Supervisor will work closely with other Managers and Forestry Supervisors to effectively deliver projects.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • A safety conscious attitude;
  • Postsecondary education with a diploma or degree in forestry;
  • Registered or eligible to be registered with the FPBC as an RPF or RFT;
  • A minimum of 5 years of operational forestry experience in British Columbia;
  • A minimum of 2 years of multiphase timber development project management in British Columbia;
  • Solid understanding of, and experience in, operational planning (cut block/road development processes). Experience using LiDAR for forest development planning would be an asset;
  • A strong understanding of the forest legislation, regulation and policy impacting forest planning and management in British Columbia; and
  • Valid driver's license with a clean abstract.
