Quality Coordinator
Nordic Minesteel Technologies (NMT) is seeking a motivated
Quality Coordinator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for an ambitious position within a challenging and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Support the development, implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System as per the requirements of ISO900
Investigate, lead Root Cause Analysis, determine and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
Coordinate corrections and corrective action activities with the Quality Team and departmental leads.
Track KPIs and quality objectives.
Assist in the development and review of procedures and work instructions.
Prepare for and play a lead role in internal and external audits.
Provide support to manufacturing with acceptability decisions.
Ensure the maintenance of records and adherence to quality standards.
Participate in the evaluation and approval of suppliers.

Requirements:

3+ years in a Quality related role or postsecondary education in a related field.
Strong knowledge of ISO9001:2015 quality standard, quality assurance terminology and procedures.
Internal Auditor Certification a strong asset.
Knowledge of root cause, corrective actions and risk analysis.
Knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and excellent problemsolving skills.
Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings and standards.
Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
Ability to meet deadlines and multiple demands working effectively in both a team environment and independently.
Valid Ontario Driver's license (travel between sites).
