JELD-WEN, a leading global company specializing in designing, manufacturing, and distributing high-performance doors and windows, is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team. If you are skilled in finance, accounting, and reporting, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.

General Job Description:

This position focuses on period close activities, including fiduciary reporting, analytics, and control requirements. You will interact with various business units in Canada, ensuring effective collaboration within the Financial Controllership Team to support the dynamic business needs.

Key Responsibilities/Areas of Accountability:

Accounting and Financial Operations:
- Execute month-end closing activities, prepare financial reports, and drive continuous process improvement
- Collaborate with counterparts to ensure best practices are followed
Management Reporting and Analytics:
- Generate and analyze financial statements, prepare reports for corporate office, and support the financial close process
- Assist in preparing management reporting packages and presentations
Management Support:
- Provide financial insight to Plant Managers, support departmental statements distribution, and analyze performance issues
Other:
- Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, handle ad hoc requests, and contribute to standardization across all business units

Technical/Professional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Strong communication skills, financial acumen, and ability to work in a multi-system environment
Advanced Excel skills, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork mindset

Qualifications:

Education:

University Degree in Commerce or Business Admin
Finance Designation (e.g., CPA) actively pursuing or near completion required

Related Experience:

4 to 6 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of US GAAP, SOX environment, and SAP a plus
Public company experience preferred
