We are looking for a highly self-motivated, enthusiastic, and goal-oriented professional equipped with strong client relationship management skills and experience in relationship selling and retail credit analysis.

A Personal Banker (Customer Relationship Manager) focuses on retail account management as well as niche mortgage market with focus in the Alternative - A segment.

This position is a part of a highly rewarding career that aims to expand customer base by developing new borrowing relations while delivering quality services to clients.

Job Scope:

To seek new business opportunities including personal and business account clients.
To retain existing clients and proactively seek opportunity to expand the existing portfolio (including deposit, FX, and mortgage).
To manage customer accounts and relevant documentation from account opening to closing.
To conduct all transactions, including operating CGI, according to regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
To seek out cross sell opportunities and build overall client relationship.
To prepare and maintain required reports and analysis.

Main Responsibilities:

Maintain superior, professional, and courteous service to promote products and expand customer relationships.
Exercise sound credit judgment to ensure highquality loans through sales focused strategy to generate highquality loan proposals.
Actively participates and assists with all Bank promotional programs and initiatives.
Identify, acquire, and develop new business opportunities related to residential lending and financing.
Build longterm profitable loan portfolio with existing clients while achievement shortterm lending target to support high growth strategy.
Develop strong network of referral sources by leveraging on existing networks through active involvement and participation with the business community.
Keep abreast of local business opportunity and exercise sensible judgement in acquiring new mortgage cases.

Qualifications:

University degree or equivalent education experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Canadian Banking institution.
Strong knowledge of the mortgage origination and home financing products.
Strong knowledge in credit analysis and adjudication as asset.
Selfmotivated, selfstarter with exceptional relationship management and sales skills.
Experiences and business knowledge working with individuals from China and Asia an asset.
Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese Dialect an asset.
Strong Computer and Microsoft Office skills.
