(Canada) continues to expand its retail operations, including residential mortgage lending in Greater Toronto & Vancouver areas.We are looking for a highly self-motivated, enthusiastic, and goal-oriented professional equipped with strong client relationship management skills and experience in relationship selling and retail credit analysis.
A Personal Banker (Customer Relationship Manager) focuses on retail account management as well as niche mortgage market with focus in the Alternative - A segment.
This position is a part of a highly rewarding career that aims to expand customer base by developing new borrowing relations while delivering quality services to clients.
Job Scope:
- To seek new business opportunities including personal and business account clients.
- To retain existing clients and proactively seek opportunity to expand the existing portfolio (including deposit, FX, and mortgage).
- To manage customer accounts and relevant documentation from account opening to closing.
- To conduct all transactions, including operating CGI, according to regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
- To seek out cross sell opportunities and build overall client relationship.
- To prepare and maintain required reports and analysis.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain superior, professional, and courteous service to promote products and expand customer relationships.
- Exercise sound credit judgment to ensure highquality loans through sales focused strategy to generate highquality loan proposals.
- Actively participates and assists with all Bank promotional programs and initiatives.
- Identify, acquire, and develop new business opportunities related to residential lending and financing.
- Build longterm profitable loan portfolio with existing clients while achievement shortterm lending target to support high growth strategy.
- Develop strong network of referral sources by leveraging on existing networks through active involvement and participation with the business community.
- Keep abreast of local business opportunity and exercise sensible judgement in acquiring new mortgage cases.
Qualifications:
- University degree or equivalent education experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Canadian Banking institution.
- Strong knowledge of the mortgage origination and home financing products.
- Strong knowledge in credit analysis and adjudication as asset.
- Selfmotivated, selfstarter with exceptional relationship management and sales skills.
- Experiences and business knowledge working with individuals from China and Asia an asset.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese Dialect an asset.
- Strong Computer and Microsoft Office skills.
