Position Overview:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage and oversee the entire payroll process, including preparation, processing, and distribution of payroll for employees
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of employee earnings, deductions, and other payrollrelated information
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues
  • Process and administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other deductions
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and finance departments
  • Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance and make recommendations for process improvements
  • Coordinate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration on payrollrelated matters

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in the healthcare or science industry
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
