The Fraser Valley Child Development Centre is a community based organization providing innovative, strength based, family centered services to children, youth and their families on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territories of the Stó:lō and Nlaka'pamux peoples.

Position Type:
Casual**
Position Summary:This position is to complete psychosocial assessment for referrals to the CDBC Assessment Clinic. To gather information from collateral sources including birth parents, family members and other community sources. To participate in clinic team meetings and consultation to determine diagnosis. To facilitate appropriate referrals to community supports and prepare social work summaries and recommendations for diagnostic assessment reports.


Qualifications

  • A degree in Social Work from a recognized institution
- _Current full registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers_

  • Knowledge and expertise in the areas of FASD and CDBC
