DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure work station is stocked and prepped for shift
- Knowledge of all promotions on the menu
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work station and environment
- Maintain open communication lines with all staff members
- Operate in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Preparation of food items in accordance with standardized recipes and portion sizes
- Responsible for providing professional and exceptional customer service in accordance with established company standards
- Responsible for ensuring high standards of food presentation and prompt service
- Following the food menus and recipes as established by the Sous Chef
- Review all incoming products for freshness and ensure food quality
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 1 years' experience in a similar role
- Ability to get along well with others with demonstrated effort in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated planning and analytical skills
- Proven superior customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Flexible work schedule to accommodate needs of a casino environment
- Friendly, outgoing and professional
- Respectful approach and demeanor
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques
CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to obtain valid GPEB License
- Ability to complete all BCLC Certifications
- Serving it Right Certification
- Food Safe Certificate
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Able to lift, handle, and transport materials that are over 20lbs
- Required to sit, stand and walk during working hours
