Job Summary


The arborist-pruner is called upon to cut dead or healthy branches, to carry out guying work, to fertilize trees and shrubs and to spray pesticides on trees.


Main responsibilities

  • Cut dead branches and prune healthy branches from young and adult trees.
  • Clear overhead line networks
  • Perform cabling and bracing on the trees.
  • Transport and use heavy materials & equipment, while respecting safety rules.
  • Perform tool maintenance.
  • Comply with Strathmore landscape contractors' policies and procedures.
  • Adopt a courteous and polite attitude with customers and team members.
  • Work safely and participate in safety meetings.
  • Comply with Strathmore landscape contractors policies and procedures

Requirements:


  • DEP in arboriculturepruning from a recognized school
  • 1 to 3 years of experience
  • Good physical shape and have great stamina
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
