Transit Bus Driver
PWTransit is currently seeking both full-time and casual Transit Bus Drivers to join our team in Fort Saskatchewan.
Full-time drivers work Monday through Friday as a split shift (5:15 am - 8:45 am and 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm).
Drivers are responsible for safely transporting passengers on a daily basis and must be committed to providing superior customer service.

Position Requirements:_
- Class 1 or 2Q driver's license
- Previous commercial driving experience (minimum 1 year)
- Driver's abstract with no more than 3 demerit points
- Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol screening
- Clear criminal record
- Must be organized, punctual and reliable
- Possess excellent driving skills and habits
- Ability to read maps and navigate (familiar with Fort Saskatchewan and surrounding area)
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Willing to work shifts, including split shifts, weekends and statutory holidays as necessary (transit service may operate 7 days per week, 21 hours per day)
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:_
- Safely transport passengers on a number of assigned routes
- Manage passenger behaviour by quickly and effectively solving problems
- Drive safely and responsibly and be prepared for all road and traffic conditions
- Provide superior customer service and assist with passenger questions/inquiries
