The Speech Associates, we travel throughout the community to provide comprehensive assessment and Speech/ABA therapy intervention in-homes, schools, and daycare facilities in Toronto and the surrounding GTA.

We are proud of our growing team, including Speech-Language Pathologists, Communicative Disorders Assistants and Behaviour Therapists We are also affiliated with the University of Toronto as Clinical Educators, as well as recognized colleges like St.

Lawrence College, Durham College, and Lambton College's CDA Programs.


The Coordinator of Speech Therapy Services leads and supports the front line interprofessional staff including: Speech Language Pathologists, Communicative Disorder Assistants and Speech Language Pathology Assistants.

In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with families, caregivers and clients. This role is the first point of contact for all operations of this dynamic team.

This is an independent contractor role, which differs from an employee position. An independent contractor is technically self-employed and provides a service in exchange for a fee.


Role Requirements:


  • Sending referrals to therapists and managing their caseloads of over 70 clinicians
  • Organizing and maintaining waitlists to ensure they are up to date and accurate
  • Answering incoming client calls and completing intakes for Speech/ABA Therapy
  • Supporting customer and patient inquiries and concerns
  • Therapist audits and overseeing clinical documentation
  • Following up with financial inquiries

Qualifications:


  • Degree of diploma in a speech therapy related field
  • Understanding of CASLPO guidelines
  • Minimum 3 years related experience

Job Type:
Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months


Salary:
$59,000.00-$62,000.00 per year

  • French not required

  • Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree (required)

Experience:

- communications/customer service: 5 years (preferred)
