The Speech Associates has been proudly providing IN-HOME speech and ABA therapy for clients in communities across Ontario over the last 15 years.

Our team of therapists works largely with the paediatric population, providing early intervention to promote development and mould the minds of tomorrow Speech Associates provides speech therapy services to children of all age groups, and for a variety of speech and language goals including articulation, motor speech, fluency, social pragmatics, and literacy.

We are passionate about working with children with different needs and diagnoses to promote confidence and autonomy.

We are proud to have a skilled and dynamic team that provides support to individuals with ASD, ADD, GDD, ODD, and ADHD.

Our team also provides speech and language therapy to adults requiring support with dysfluency, swallowing concerns, stroke, brain injury and more.

The Speech Associates is excited to continue growing our Speech Division, and are looking to expand our team of Speech-Language Pathologists, Speech-Language Pathology Assistants, and Communicative Disorders Assistants


Position(s) Available:


  • Virtual Speech Language Pathologist and In-Home Speech Language Pathologist positions available
  • 11 Direct Therapy, as well as CDA supervision opportunities

Independent Contractor.


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Master's degree in Speech
  • Language Pathology
  • Registration with CASLPO or eligibility to register with CASLPO
  • Ability to work cooperatively with clients their families
  • Supervising a variety of CDAs and SLP-As
  • Interest and experience working with the paediatric population, including children on the spectrum
  • Excellent ability to conduct both formal and informal Speech-Language assessments.
  • Excellent ability to provide play based therapy
  • Access to a vehicle
  • Documenting progress through detailed SOAP notes on our online platform, Alayacare
  • Outstanding communication skills and problemsolving skills
  • Some experience with virtual therapy
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Registration with CASLPO or eligibility to register with CASLPO
  • Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members, clients and their families.
  • Ability to problem solve, work independently, and selfmonitor
  • A valid Ontario Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle or other reliable methods of transportation.
  • Minimum 6months of experience implementing speech and language teaching strategies an asset
  • Interest and experience working with the paediatric population, including children on the spectrum
  • Excellent ability to provide playbased therapy
  • A passion for helping others
