Job Summary


Our client service team is responsible for providing the highest level of care to our patients, clients and referring veterinarians.

Being the central contact for the hospital, our client services team ensures the hospital is represented in a positive and professional manner.

We are seeking an additional team member that enjoys going above and beyond for clients, is eager to learn and develop in the veterinary industry, and thrives in a past-faced environment.


SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet and offer assistance to clients during the admission and discharge process.
  • Answer telephone inquiries and direct calls appropriately.
  • Facilitate efficient communication between clients, referring veterinarians, and the hospital team.
  • Cash handling and receiving payments from clients.
  • Processing insurance claims.
  • Willing to go above and beyond to exceed clients' expectations.
  • Ensure work area is kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Complete other administrative / reception duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Previous reception experience is required.
  • Graduate of an accredited program for veterinary assistants and receptionists is preferred.
  • Experience with Veterinary software programs an asset

WORKING HOURS

  • Wednesday
  • Saturday, 1:00 pm 11:30 pm after training is completed.
  • Training period: 46 weeks of day shifts, with start times varying from 7:00 am 11:00 am.
