- Be a role model, providing leadership and supervision within the Student Advisors portfolio to develop a cohesive and integrated team that is focused on high quality programming and services to support student transition and success
- Support the Campus Management in the alignment of departmental business practices with Ace Acumen Academy's academic and operational strategic plans and with a goal of ensuring a strong and positive customer service culture which is consistent among all campus locations
- Focus on student success by inspiring student learning and drive improvement(s) in areas of student satisfaction and retention
- Ensure the Readmission process is completed in an efficient and timely manner, bringing any issues or concerns to Campus Management
- Work closely with members of the Administrative and Academic teams to assist in the assessment of student needs related to student success
- Monitor best practices in advising, student financial updates and awards, student orientation and student engagement, and ensures that all services and programs within the Student Services portfolio undergo regular review and provide handson support /participation as necessary
- Ensure that the use of technology within the Student Services portfolio is cost effective, integrated and scalable to the greatest extent possible
Must be prepared to work rotating morning, afternoon, evening and weekend shifts and travel to all campuses on a weekly basis to carry out needs of business.
Qualifications:
- Experience of working with international students is an asset
- Ability to resolve a problem or conflict;
- Possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with mínimal supervision;
- Advanced experience with spreadsheets;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to transfer / travel between campus locations
This position is expected to work on-site at the College's campuses; _
this is NOT a remote job._
Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract
Salary:
$40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year

- Bachelor's Degree (required)
Experience:
- post-secondary work environment: 2 years (preferred)
- customer service: 2 years (required)
Willingness to travel:
- 50% (required)
