Global Travel Operations Manager
Job Summary:
The Global Travel Operations Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of RBC's global Travel strategy working with internal business partners globally and external travel suppliers.
What will you do?
Relationship Management
- Manage relationships with regional Travel Management Companies (TMC) and travel suppliers
- Manage second level escalations on behalf of business travelers and travel suppliers
- Facilitate regional TMC and travel supplier business reviews
- Liaise with Business Unit partners in implementation of policy changes and travel program updates
- Manage travel policies, global reporting & scorecards
- Ensure a safe, seamless, and costeffective travel program across all platforms globally to optimize preferred supplier compliance, optimal service selection, usage reduction and substitution
- Provide active operational management from endtoend fulfillment to policy creation/maintenance, supplier management, compliance reporting and traveler support
- Monitor business traveler needs and partner with travel suppliers to address. Develop and propose strategies to improve traveler satisfaction
- Manage TMC service level agreement
- Prepare quarterly business partner review materials
- Manage policy offences and compliance
- Deliver incremental cost savings through sourcing activities and demand management
- Provide sourcing support
- Evaluate RFP, lead Hotel RFPs
- Participate in Service Level Agreement development
- Assist with the implementation for transition of selected suppliers and monitors implementation

- 5+ years of supplier management expertise
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Strong relationship management skills
Nice to Have**- Experience with Concur Travel
- Knowledge of the RFP process
