Job Duties/Qualifications, Skills and Abilities(QSA):
- Job Duties
Job Duties - Shipping and receiving the majority of items entering or leaving the campus.
- Banner and computer database research and data entry. Record and filing.
- Pickup and delivery of supplies, internally and externally, as well as handling mail.
- Ensure fixed assets are properly tagged and tracked.
- Provide campus mail services.
- Coordinate all sales and salvage activity.
- Provide backup for the WHMIS/MSDS tracking process.
- QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE
Specific Accountabilities
Duties
- 1. Completion of Grade 12.
- Two years' recent and relevant experience in all activities related to warehousing and shipping/receiving. Knowledge of purchasing, transportation and inventory control skills.
- Knowledge of general business/accounting and administration.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Valid Driver's license.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and customer services skills.
- Ability to handle heavy/awkward objects on a regular basis.
- Must attain forklift certification within three months of hiring.
- Demonstrates valuing diversity.
