Job Duties/Qualifications, Skills and Abilities(QSA):


  • Job Duties
    Job Duties
  • Shipping and receiving the majority of items entering or leaving the campus.
  • Banner and computer database research and data entry. Record and filing.
  • Pickup and delivery of supplies, internally and externally, as well as handling mail.
  • Ensure fixed assets are properly tagged and tracked.
  • Provide campus mail services.
  • Coordinate all sales and salvage activity.
  • Provide backup for the WHMIS/MSDS tracking process.
  • QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE
    Specific Accountabilities

Duties

  • 1. Completion of Grade 12.
  • Two years' recent and relevant experience in all activities related to warehousing and shipping/receiving. Knowledge of purchasing, transportation and inventory control skills.
  • Knowledge of general business/accounting and administration.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and customer services skills.
  • Ability to handle heavy/awkward objects on a regular basis.
  • Must attain forklift certification within three months of hiring.
  • Demonstrates valuing diversity.
