Position: Delivery Specialist


Status: Full-Time


Dealership: OpenRoad Subaru Boundary


Department: Sales


Compensation: $40,000-$60,000 per annumThis is a commissioned role - earnings will be based on experience and productivity.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Ensure the showroom is consistently appealing and inviting.
  • Assist in greeting and serving customers with exceptional care.
  • Support the Sales Department during vehicle deliveries.
  • Coordinate new and pre-owned vehicle deliveries between Sales, Finance & Insurance, and Detailing departments.
  • Highlight product excellence, technology, and features to customers, providing insights on vehicle specifications.
  • Thoroughly present and demonstrate vehicle features to all visitors.
  • Organize sold vehicle preparation, including accessories, chemical packages, and delivery cleanup.
  • Inspect vehicles before delivery to ensure cleanliness, absence of damage, and timely delivery.
  • Follow up with customers post-delivery to address any queries regarding the vehicle.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries in-person and over the phone.
  • Offer vehicle information and explanations as necessary post-delivery.
  • Exceed prescribed customer service standards and guidelines.
  • Adhere to company safety regulations and protocols, promptly reporting any accidents to the General Manager.
  • Fulfill other duties as directed by management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:


  • Proficient in automotive technology and eager to expand detailed product knowledge.
  • Well-organized with strong time management capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying detailed information clearly.
  • Exceptional customer service aptitude.
  • Highly self-motivated, quick learner, and adaptable to new challenges.
  • Effective communication and information assimilation aligning with job requirements.
  • Capable of making informed decisions in accordance with job functions.
  • Possession of a valid British Columbia Driver's License with a clean driving history.
