Join a growing team


We are looking for an experienced steel worker and certified welder to join our steel shop that specializes in residential structural steel.

Cutting, welding, bending rebar, keeping the shop clean and tidy. Brand new 10,000sf shop. We are looking for someone that can lead a small team, is forward thinker and problem solver. "MyGyver" should be your middle name.

Must be a team player. Full time Permanent work, all days.

Compensation based on experience and certification.

The Steel Worker Role:

This position is an integral part of our operation, and focuses primarily on the safe, effective and accurate operation of the steel yard.

Our Steel Workers take pride in quality workmanship, are detailed oriented, accessible, and well organized.

Our Steel Workers take pride in the accuracy of order completion, and the tidy appearance of their equipment, tools and shop.


The Steel Workers' Responsibilities:


  • Actively participates daily in our Health and Safety Program, Policies and Procedures
  • Ensures that equipment is circle checked (with follow up as required) and tidy every day
  • Accurately processes and completes all product orders
  • Maintains the cleanliness of the shop to ensure all product is easily located and accessed
  • Proactively identifies and reports low inventory as appropriate
  • Build positive customer relationships and trust in the company brand

The Qualifications:


  • Physically fit, willing and capable of lifting stones and pavers up to 25kg.
  • High School Graduate
  • Forklift and loader operator experience is an asset
G license with 3 years commercial driving experience


Steel Workers' Required Skills:


  • Able to read, write and clearly communicate verbally in English
  • Willing to work outside in all weather conditions, 4050 hours/week
  • Able to report to work on time, and as scheduled for every shift
  • Arrived daily at work prepared with appropriate clothing, food and refreshments to sustain themselves for the day
