Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Application Services, and engaging across all services delivered by De Havilland Information Technology, we are looking for a dynamic and open-minded individual to join us as an ERP Systems Analyst.

The role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, reporting skills and coordination skills.

As the ERP Systems Analyst, your main role will be support of the Manufacturing and MRO ERP Infor Visual by owning incidents, problems, and changes.

Alongside support responsibilities, you will also be challenged to take on different business demands and support project assignments.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Configure software to meet documented requirements
  • Test software based on De Havilland best practices and specifications
  • Create and maintain system documentation as required
  • Responsible for maintaining the integrity and availability of the business data while stored in IS Systems
  • Act as a counterpart and sparring partner to business process owners and specialists, aiding them in their decision making and building their trust and confidence
  • Assist in implementation of new or enhanced functionality, including requirements gathering, analysis and development of support processes
  • Support business demand pipeline and provide solutions to the business that provide maximum value and at the same time aligned with Business and IT goals and strategy
  • Support translation of business needs into actionable technical projects, through writing and gathering business requirements, scoping required project plan, and executing and delivering project
  • Build internal and external networks and be a main reference point for the Manufacturing and MRO teams
  • Act as second/third line support and carry out incident, change and problem management
  • Other duties as required

Education:


  • Bachelor's degree or technical diploma from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT) or related field
  • ITIL certification will be an asset.

Skills:


  • 5+ years of experience implementing, operating, and enhancing ERP technologies
  • 5+ years experience working in Logistics, distribution, and Manufacturing domains
  • 5+ years of experience in SQL
  • Skilled at optimizing SQL statements
  • Strong knowledge of Visual, and specifically Manufacturing and MRO modules is key. Experience in this area will be necessary to successfully carry out the role
  • Handson experience using Infor Visual V7 or higher
  • Working experience in other functional modules will be added advantage (Ex: Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality Management, Sales CRM SRM, Projects, and Contracts Management)
  • Demonstrated strong problem solving, analytical skills, and strategic thinking
  • Working experience on basic technical areas (development and configurations)
  • Good knowledge of IS terms and practices
  • Good knowledge of reporting and analytics
  • Ability to gather and document business requirements and translate these into project plans as needed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
  • Positive, enthusiastic and energetic
  • Occasional travel within Canada may be required < 10%
