Customer Service Lead:
The Customer Service Representative Lead is responsible for processing sales quickly, accurately and efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service.
Job Duties:
- Greet and assist customers in a manner that models exemplary conduct to other staff.
- Opens customer accounts by recording account information
- Maintains customer records by updating account information
- Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem
- Make sure all customer queries are addressed and handled professionally, leaving the customer with a positive resolution.
- Processes customer adjustments correctly and in a timely manner
- Build team commitment to high standards of service, exceeding Customer expectations and leading by example
- Creatively address merchandise displays in windows, showcases, and on the sales floor to attract attention and promote sales
- Conduct oneonone and/or small group training presentations for Associates on product knowledge, store activities, and established policies and procedures
- Use selling techniques such as add on sales and describing technical information to customers to enhance salesmanship and reach store and position sales goals; use these techniques to train other employees
- Assist the store manager in ensuring that the functions and operations of the store are run in a proper fashion.
- Lead with high energy, positivity and represent Healthy Planet Store with pride
- Work in collaboration with Store Management to help develop a team through our core values and cultural platforms.
- Motivate and inspire Team Members to exceed daily/monthly/quarterly goals.
- Contribute to crushing team goals
- Collaborate with Store Management to provide coaching and constructive feedback to Team Members.
- Ensure all store operations are completed effectively and efficiently, including opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure store is visually beautiful, clean and wellstocked.
- Performs other general duties assigned
Requirements & Must Haves:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Minimum 3 yrs experience for a team lead and 5 years experience for supervisors; with a background in retail and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 3+ years' retail or customer service management experience (Keyholder at minimum)
- Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements
- Experience leading & motivating retail teams and proven track record of exceptional customer service strongly preferred
- Driven to deliver superior service by exceeding customer expectations
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers and coworkers
- Able to work well as a team player in a fastpaced, energetic environment
- Proven ability to plan, set and achieve goals
- Be a selfstarter and use good judgment in all situations
- Excellent verbal, written English and interpersonal communication skills
- Open availability and flexibility to work as per the needs of the business
- Ability to train employees, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
- Enthusiastic, friendly and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service
