What You Will Do:

May be required to be oncall outside of normal working hours to deal with emergency situations

Counsel, advise, and coach in the relevant discipline
Identify and minimize risk of Health and Safety issues

Excellent management of time and ability to complete several tasks with mínimal guidance.
Demonstrate knowledge of the industry and / or sector
Manage multiple projects and work packages

What Qualifications Do You Bring?:

Completion of a degree/diploma in relevant discipline (e.g. Engineering, Architecture, Construction), combined with several years of directly related work experience in TTC construction; or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent.
Demonstrated experience in construction inspection, administration and documentation.
A valid Province of Ontario Class G driver's license would be an asset. May be required use of own vehicle required for visits to construction sites that are not easily accessible by public transits.
Ability to lead supervisory field staff in a construction environment within budget and schedule restraints.
Require medium to heavy physical effort and ability to climb ladders, scaffolds, as well as agility, alertness, good hearing and eyesight.
Must hold and maintain Power Cutter certification in order to set up work zones and perform/monitor power cuts to facilitate contractor's work at track level;
Must hold and maintain Person-InCharge (PIC) and Work-AreaCoordinator (WAC) certification;
Must have or rapidly acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the Ontario Human Rights Code and Related Orders including disability accommodation and accessibility requirements pertaining to passengers and employees.
