Job Summary
We are looking for motivated machinists to set-up and operate CNC milling and/or turning machines. We offer a positive environment, flexibility, benefits, and the opportunity to grow within our company.

EVENING SHIFT PREMIUM 2.50$/Hour

SCHEDULE:
MONDAY to FRIDAY

In this role, key responsibilities may include:

Inspect machine condition and ensure scheduled maintenance has been completed before it is put into operation
Setup and operate vertical milling and/or lathe CNC to machine parts as per drawing
For each new setup, provide the first conforming machined product to inspection for verification
Clean up left over material and clean work area as required
Complete all operations in a safe manner
Suggest improvements to manufacturing method on provided setup improvement sheet.
Enter production times and quantities into ERP system.
Stamp and fill out work order (traveler) once traveler steps are complete.

What qualifications are we looking for?

Minimum of 2 years of machining experience. Have conventional, Lathe CNC machining or sheet metal experience is an asset.
Ability to read and understand job requirements & drawings (inhouse & customer documentation)
Must be very versatile so as to develop other type of machining/inspection ability.
Must be proactive.
Able to work within a team environment.
