We're looking for an Imprint Sales Manager, Young Readers to join our team

Your contribution to the story:


Reporting to the Imprint Sales Director, Tundra Book Group you will aid in growing sales and increasing brand visibility for our children's publishing program.


What you'll do:


  • Act as the primary point of contact for US and Client publishers, responsible for communicating and contextualizing performance against targets to key stakeholders.
  • Act as a conduit to our sales team by presenting titles each season and by determining and communicating sales goals, opportunities, and strategy.
  • Work with the sales team with respect to inventory management and to address the unique circumstances of each sales channel with an eye towards leveraging growth opportunities.
  • Generate and analyze reporting on retail activity, Point of Sale data, and industry, category, and consumer data and trends.

Experience and knowledge you'll bring (qualifications):

  • Three or more years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related field, preferably with a focus on children's book publishing.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and balance multiple responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and thrive in a complex and changing work environment.
  • An inclusive approach to your work, supported by a welldeveloped cultural competency skills and a proven ability to collaborate with people from across a wide range of diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work with confidential information using sound judgement and discretion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with acute attention to detail.
  • A solutionsfocused approach coupled with an eye towards continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and online collaboration tools such as WebEx, Google Docs, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Enhanced knowledge, awareness, and experience with the culture and history of any community that has faced marginalization is considered a plus.
  • And of course, a love for books
