Oxytech Industries, a well-establish and long-standing steel service provider of high-definition plasma and laser cutting, forming and machining is currently hiring for an experienced
Accounting & Office Administrator, to provide maternity coverage (the range of coverage would be a minimum of 6 months, to a maximum of 12 months). We are looking for a passionate and driven individual with a proven track record of success in accounting and office administration. If you fit that description, we would love to hear from you

Qualifications:


  • Postsecondary education in an accounting related field
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role

Duties:


  • Cash flow management manage daily bank reconciliation, track and project upcoming weekly cash inflows and outflows
  • A/P review and post vendor invoices, prepare weekly vendor payments via cheque and EFT
  • A/R weekly collections, input cheques and other receipts into accounting system, deposit cheques to bank
  • Prepare biweekly payroll for approx. 25 employees
  • Government remittances source deductions, EHT, WSIB, HST
  • Month end and year end procedures act as liaison with accounting firm to assist in year end completion
  • T4 slip preparation
  • Track key financial ratios on a monthly basis
  • Provide ongoing feedback to management regarding financial health of business
  • Pay bills in a timely manner
  • Credit card reconciliation
  • Various admin and HR duties as required
  • Analyze the organization's business activities and advise management on financial matters and impacts of the business transactions and decisions.
  • Heat Number / MTR inputting, recording and reconciling
  • Inventory tracking of raw material and shop consumables
  • Generate packing slip and invoice for outgoing orders
  • Other related duties, as required

Salary:
$55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Georgetown, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
