Installation Coordinator
Waymarc Industries Ltd. is a leading distributor of storage systems.

We design, sell and install shelving, pallet racking, lockers, structural mezzanine systems, automotive technician & other service benches, small and large parts storage equipment and modular drawers.

Established since 1975, we offer innovative solutions to all our customer's storage needs with branches in Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon and Regina.


We are looking for an Installation Coordinator, based out of Edmonton, Alberta.

The Installation Coordinator will be directly responsible for coordinating the installation teams as well as work closely with our customers and our Sales, Design, and
Purchasing Teams to manage our project schedule and forecast our long-term installation people and equipment requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS_

  • Direct and coordinate all installation activities at specific customer sites
  • Work with the Operations Manager to create and maintain the installation schedule and identify future hiring/training, material and equipment requirements necessary for execution of the schedule
  • Manage the overall installation productivity and strive towards continuous improvement
  • Work with the Safety Coordinator to create, implement, and maintain the company's safety standards and ensure full compliance at all job sites
  • Manage the overall coordination and performance of all onsite activities and implement corrective action when necessary
  • Identify potential risks and develop a job plan and all installation requirements
  • Control project installation costs and schedule
  • Advise management regarding developments that could affect project profit, schedule, costs, client relations, and internal relations
  • Help track product shipping dates with multiple vendors

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS_

  • Direct experience coordinating installations
  • Proven leadership is a must
- two or more years of management experience preferred

  • Ability to read and interpret plans
  • Experience working for large general contractors and their site requirements
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with job task planning and organizing
  • Ability to effectively manage both onsite employees and subtrades

Salary:
$40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
