- Keep the parking lot and buildings in a clean, well maintained, and orderly condition at all times
- Ensure any safety hazards or concerns are addressed in a timely manner
- Perform general maintenance of all service areas, including painting, cleaning, discarding parts, or other duties
- Keeping the shop areas clean and organized

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Valid Class 5 or N Driver's license
- Able to climb ladders
- Operate power tools and small gas powered equipment
- Tow and operate dump trailer
- Knowledge of minor interior and exterior building maintenance
- General carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical skills
- A valid Forklift Operation Certificate is considered an asset
- Regularly spend long hours Standing in a shop environment
- Regularly spend long hours in varying temperatures as dictated by seasonal weather conditions.
- Frequently work on projects that require deadlines

Position Summary: Bannister Automotive Group Chilliwack (a division of the Bannister Automotive Group) is looking for a Handyman to assist the Fixed Operation Manager with Building and Shop Maintenance for our four dealerships, and collision center. This position is suitable for a semi-retired individual who is comfortable with a variety general maintenance duties, and able to work 4-6 hours a day.
