Purpose of Role:
This is a senior role and is very technical. It involves producing written artefacts and presenting them to senior personnel. The individual must be able to interpret requirements into technical solutions that meet the needs of the RCN.

The individual will be expected to interact with technical project team members, challenge technical decisions, and make recommendations on technical data and documents.

Subject Matter Expertise- Experience developing and managing a comprehensive Information Management program with working knowledge of Data Management, Document Management, and Records Management.- Ability to advise, counsel, and assist the client with the development of a greenfield IM program which includes internal program development and interfaces with industry IM programs.- Ability to support Digital Engineering and Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives.- Business Analyst skills with ability to facilitate discussions around IM and document IM requirements.- Plan, schedule, and implement the IM program.- Provide the strategic perspective and expertise necessary to support IM initiatives.- Expertise necessary to support the development and implementation of a governance framework.- Expertise necessary to implement an effective IM framework consisting of policies, procedures, training, auditing, and quality initiatives.


Strategic Planning- Ensure the IM program aligns with CSC project goals and objectives.- Assist with development and implementation of internal and project IM strategies with a focus on Digital Engineering and data centric ways of working.- Assist the client to develop, implement, and assure the IM program meets strategic outcomes.- Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities and develop solutions for internal and project IM programs.- Identify and assist the client with addressing high priority IM issues.- Identify how Information Management, Technical Data Management, Configuration Management, and Information Technology will work together to provide a comprehensive IM program.


Quality Management- Provide oversight, surveillance, and audit of internal and project IM programs in accordance with IM governance requirements and Systems Engineering requirements.- Lead the implementation of best practices related to delivery of the IM program.- Monitor IM program maturity and report on program effectiveness to the client.- Identify and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to manage tactical aspects of the IM program.- Perform audits of IM systems to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.- Develop and implement training programs for staff on information management policies and procedures.- Monitor and analyze emerging trends and best practices in IM to inform strategic planning.- Create, maintain, and promote IM policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with client needs and expectations.- Identify programs, activities, and projects that will push the IM program forward.- Support collaboration efforts to achieve the IM strategic outcomes.


Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Library Science, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in information management, including 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of information management principles and best practices.
  • Experience in developing and implementing information management policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in project
