Using state of the art equipment, our trained technicians will repair your vehicle properly so that you can get back on the road safely.

Summary:

The AP Accounting Clerk reports to the Finance Manager and will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day processing and recording of transactions in AP for CSN Glen Merritt Collision.

The position will also support the financial quarter and year-end closing process.

Primary Objectives of the Role

Verify, attain approval signatures based on company SOP's, and issue payments to Suppliers, Licensees etc
Validate and process employee expense reports.
Maintain departmental filing and record keeping systems.
Other Accounting Functions
Assist with month end/quarter end and year end closing procedures.
Prepare standard and recurring quarterly Journal Entries
Other projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Welldeveloped organizational skills with the ability to manage a variety of tasks with limited direction.
Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
Works well in a team environment as well as independently.
Must be eager to embrace change and provide input during our transitional period ahead.

Education and Qualifications

Postsecondary education in accounting
Previous accounting experience considered an asset.
Bilingual in English and French an asset
