Sovereign is looking for a Manager, Information Technology Solutions Support and Operations you will be responsible for providing direct management to a diverse team that has complex technical responsibilities and will work in close collaboration with our Solution Delivery Leads, providing skilled personnel to meet various project and operational requirements.

This role oversees 4 key areas in Sovereign IT:


  • IT Operations
  • IT reporting, IT finances, Audit
  • Production Releases production change management


  • Business continuity

  • Business Continuity Planning, Disaster Recovery

How you will create impact:


  • Ensuring a positive experience for our organizational end users by ensuring appropriate support of our systems is provided through our Application Support team
  • Contribute to project and program success by overseeing production release services leveraging DevSecOps tools and best practices
  • Participate in budgeting and reporting activities, such as contributing to annual budget planning and IT operational reporting & analytics
  • Contribute towards the development of IT best practices, standards, policies, practices and methodologies, and monitor compliance with audit and business continuity management plans.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, procedures, solution delivery, maintainability, and usability, including operational efficiencies.

To join our team:


  • Experience with Incident/Ticket Management Systems such as Service Now or similar
  • Solid understanding of DevOps / DevSecOps practices
  • Familiar with code repository and release management tools such as Bitbucket and Jenkins
  • Solid understanding of Agile project management / software development
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence and other related project management tools
  • A Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science with at least 5 years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of management experience and demonstrated leadership ability in the areas of coaching, mentoring, staff direction, interviewing/hiring, performance management, and strategic planning
