Description

**This is a fly in
- fly out position that requires extensive travel to construction sites within Canada, for periods of 2-3 weeks at a time.**The
Steel Building Erector is responsible for assembling and erecting steel trusses to form the interior skeleton of a building and install the appropriate covers of a building.

The
Steel Building Erector may also be responsible for installing electrical and mechanical portions of the building as well as installing man doors or overhead doors.

The
Steel Building Erector will be required to use lifts, power tools and safety apparatuses.

As a member of the construction erection crew, professional representation is required at all times.

Requirements:

High School diploma/GED
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Construction industry
Valid driver's license and an acceptable driver's abstract are required
Flexibility to travel and work on rotation
Ability to meet Drug & Alcohol testing standards required by clients
Ability to read and comprehend blue prints and installation instructions is an asset
Experience in the steel framed, fabric covered building industry is an asset
