The Barista provides customers with excellent customer service and efficiently prepares high-quality coffees and other beverages.

The barista's primary responsibilities are to know the standard drink recipes and be able to make them quickly and accurately.

Taking drink orders, serving beverages, and collecting money. Filling drink orders placed by servers for customers to be served. Arranging ingredients, dairy products, and barware, washed glasses and cleaned the coffee bar.

Stocking the bar by bringing coffee beans, teas, flavouring ingredients, and other bar supplies from the storeroom to the coffee bar.

The Barista is tasked with ensuring the general cleanliness of the Market and other duties as required.


What we are looking for:

Able to perform early openings 5 days a week, with open availability for weekends and holidays.
High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent preferred
A minimum of two years of direct customer service experience is required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Ability to make excellent sales to achieve performance in alignment with organizational goals and objectives
Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Motivated and creative team player
Strong knowledge of retail sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
Excellent listening skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
Ability to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures
Ability to work individually and as a part of a team
High level of integrity and work ethic
Ability to multitask
This position will spend 100% of the time standing.
Must be able to transport up to 50 pounds on occasion and up to 35 pounds regularly.
Exposure to extremely hot and extremely cold liquids, barware, etc.
Manual dexterity is required to use desktop computers and peripherals.
