Located out of our Calgary Office, the HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) Summer Student will report to HSSE Pipelines Manager.

As a key member of the transportation team, the HSE Summer student will be assisted to day-to-day activities that include reviewing and updating HSE documents, emergency response plans and Task Hazard Assessment library.

Qualifications:

Enrolled in a postsecondary institution with a focus in health & safety

Experience:

Knowhow with Enablon, or any similar HSE software
An understanding for MS Suite, along with Sharepoint considered an asset

Key Activities and Responsibilities:

Assist the Manager, HSE with various tasks including occurrence classification and data integrity
Support HSE Advisors with HSE documents that include Hazard assessment updates and filing them onto SharePoint
Collaborate with Security Advisor to streamline processes
Potential to be involved in site visits
Possibility to participate in emergency response drills
Partake in GAP analyst and standardization of Task Hazard and Job Hazard Assessments
