- RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing nutrient and ingredient labelling information in compliance with government regulations, policies and company guidelines
- Compile and issue Nutrition Facts tables, ingredient lists, allergen information and any other required information for compliant labelling
- Assist in the constant improvement of labelling systems, processes, content, and oversight while maintaining consistency and agility
- Has direct responsibility for a specific set of tasks related to a project as it pertains to nutrition labelling services
- Provides administrative support services for client driven project activities
- Organizes and implements administrative systems and procedures performing necessary support duties
- Draft, edit and prepare correspondence, reports and other material using word processing, spreadsheets and/or databases
- Prepares and maintains relevant work records, reviews documents, expense reports, timesheets, tracks document control
- Provides for smooth daytoday flow of communications within the team including responding to routine inquiries and communicating with established clients to support ongoing projects
- May act as a liaison for area of responsibility (AOR) with internal and external stakeholders
- Participates in courses, conferences and other training opportunities in order to expand regulatory knowledge base
- Ensures full compliance with the company's Health and Safety program and policies
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum postsecondary school degree in Food Science, Nutrition or related discipline, or equivalent combination of work experience and education
- Exemplary communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadline
- Demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to move up to lbs. from one area to another. Light lifting is required
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
