The Opportunity:

We are seeking a
Project Manager to join and work closely with a multidisciplinary team. This will be in a fast‐paced environment that requires a high level of multi-tasking and attention to detail. This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a fast-growing entrepreneurial company.

Your Responsibilities:

Reporting to Senior Management, your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Preparation estimates and quotes for insurance related flooring and tiling projects
  • Routinely monitor key performance indicators identifying opportunities for improvement
and making appropriate supervisory and management personnel aware of the findings.

  • Delivering exceptional customer service to insurance stakeholders, homeowners, and
property managers

  • Being proactive in resolving customer service issues
  • Managing costs and claims process for all insurance related works
  • Keep detailed accounts of expenses and related documentation in accordance with
existing company policies.

  • Monitor workload to evaluate the staffing levels.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure effective coverage over a portfolio of projects
  • Building and maintaining relationships by meeting adjusters on jobs, providing timely
and accurate estimates and billings

  • In conjunction with Operations Managers, Develop, monitor and adjust operations plans
to ensure project completion.

  • Develop a plan to complete works as required by each job.
  • Ensure highest standards of quality are adhered to on a continuing basis through
Inspecting progress and work quality throughout the project lifespan.

  • Liaising with appropriate departments, subtrades, homeowners, and adjusters on the
status of work

  • Coordinate and schedule 3rd party subcontractors and supplies on and offsite.
  • Preparing accurate job costing and estimating, ensuring target margins are met.

Who You Are:


Requirements:


  • Previous experience completing estimations and project management is required.
  • Previous experience completing inside flooring sales is considered an asset
  • Existing account management is mandatory
  • 45 years of flooring sales experience is preferred
  • Good communication, strong interpersonal skills and negotiation skills
  • Valid BC driver's license with a satisfactory driver abstract
  • Clean criminal record as it relates to work
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Computer skills (MS Office, portable phone)
  • Must have business development and financial management skills
  • Must be organized

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Richmond, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- estimations and project management: 3 years (preferred)
- flooring and tiling: 3 years (preferred)
