We are on the search for a warehouse laborer to help support our warehouse operations and back fill delivery/pickup drivers when required.


KEY POSITION FUNCTIONS:


  • Process incoming orders by unloading carriers/couriers.
  • Inspect the condition of incoming freight and denote damages as required.
  • Complete orders in priority sequence and shelve all orders.
  • Ensure all discrepancies are resolved.
  • Ensure pick lists are processed in a timely fashion.
  • Utilize available tools and technologies to improve efficiency.
  • Pull and fill orders from stock for deliveries ensuring accuracy and labels.
  • Puts stock away in their proper locations.
  • Load and unload customer vehicles: May need forklift.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean and organized.
  • Package cores and returns for shipment.
  • Inventory cycle counting as per schedule.
  • Learn and retain product codes and placement in warehouse.
  • Assist Customers and coworkers and all areas of the warehouse as required.
  • Provide a high level of customer service in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Report all safety concerns, accidents or incidents to supervisor or Manager immediately.
  • Cross train where applicable
  • Help Maintain Elite Support Certification
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Assist in maintaining Elite Support certification.
  • All areas of the department are clean, organized, and safe.
  • Shine maps are relevant and up to date.
  • 5S audits are completed monthly.
  • Cultivate a continuous improvement culture.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION &

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:


  • Able to lift to 60Lbs.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a minimum of 5 years driving.
  • Clean drivers abstract required.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate department demands.
  • Able to work both indoors and outdoors.
  • Able to wear required PPE and stand/walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to operate various equipment (Pallet Jack, Forklift, etc.)
