Your Tasks:


  • Download OEM specific information such as 2D & 3D cad data, engineering standards & specifications, as requested by Program Management or Sales Department by accessing approved customer portals and databases (Teamcenter Engineering)
  • Create 3D cad models (changes, proposals, studies) and 2D associated drawings, following internal & global procedures and OEM's data and drawings creation standards
  • Data Management within our internal PLM system ( CIM Database by use of Workspace Manager)
  • Support all Engineering Change (EC) activities related to 2D & 3D data in CIM Database (uploads, data revisions and engineering levels data comparison, component drawings creation & updates)
  • Must be able to think and work methodically and independently with mínimal supervision.
  • Contributes to a safe, clean and comfortable work environment that complements the Occupational Health and Safety Act by ensuring the principles of the 5S discipline (simplify, separate, sanitize, standardize and support) are supported and adhered to.
  • Ensures full compliancy with the laws of Ontario and/or any other province or state, while representing Kirchhoff AUTOMOTIVE or during the use of any Kirchhoff AUTOMOTIVE provided equipment.
  • Any other reasonable request made by management.

Your Profile:


  • 3 years minimum work related experience in automotive product design, with Japanese (Honda) and North American (Ford, GM, Stellantis) customers.
  • Automotive / Mechanical Engineering Degree or College diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology with equivalent work experience
  • Thorough knowledge of CAD product design techniques, modeling and drafting,
  • Good knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Sound understanding of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements.
  • Proven expertise in latest version of NX with Supplier Toolkit and/or CATIA V5/V6 CAD software
  • Working knowledge of Teamcenter Database for North American OEM.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Effective analytical and problem solving skills,
  • Ability to focus and effectively manage multiple tasks and changing priorities,
  • Understanding of detailed assembly structure and creating component drawings
  • Computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint.
