SUMMARY:

Sales Clerk is responsible for providing sales and customer service to Members and Guests relating at the Pro Shop & Chandlery which sells apparel, sailing & boating equipment, and much more.

This individual will report to the Pro Shop & Chandlery Supervisor and have superior customer service skills and be able to assist with purchases, stocking, and supplies.

DUTIES:

Provide excellent customer service instore and over the phone, including making sales, answering customer questions,
Maintain the store, including stocking of merchandise, cleaning the store and merchandise, maintenance and setup of visual merchandising.
Process customer transaction, including returns, exchanges, opening and closing procedures.
Assist with product receiving, pricing, and daily restocking of merchandise.
Pump fuel for Guests and Member boats.
Sign out bikes, stand up paddle boards, and canoes.

REQUIREMENTS:

An energetic "People Person" who loves a bustling environment
Is organized and can follow processes and procedures
Previous customer service experience is an asset.
Knowledge of sailing/boating is an asset.
Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, crouch, and climb stairs.
Be able to lift to 25 lbs.

HOURS OF WORK:

Seasonal Part time position hours per week. August 28 until end of October with possibility of returning next season (May until November)

Must be available Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday:

Able to work outdoors
Able to work shifts (8 hour shifts between 7:45am to 8:15pm)
Able to work weekends and Holidays shifts
